Become a CVMA Board Member
Openings on the CVMA Board of Governors
There are currently three district openings and three member-at-large openings.
The following terms expire on June 30, 2017:
District 2 (Southern California and Antelope Valley VMAs)
Dr. Lawrence Kosmin (not eligible for another term)
District 6 (Sacramento Valley, Mother Lode VMAs)
Dr. Ken Pawlowski (not eligible for another term)
District 9 (Peninsula, San Francisco, Santa Clara Valley VMAs)
Dr. Aleisha Nesset (eligible for another term)
District Representation – Any eligible CVMA member may become a candidate for the board by submitting a written petition of intent, signed by 10 CVMA members whose practices are within the district to be represented.

GOVERNOR AT LARGE OPENINGS
Dr. Bryan Halteman (current term expires 6/30/2017; is eligible for another term)
Dr. Nada Khalaf (current term expires 6/30/2017; is eligible for another term)
Vacant Governor-At-Large opening
At-Large Board of Governors Nominations – Applicants for the at-large board positions shall not simultaneously run for an elected district board position. After receiving letters of interest and applications from qualified CVMA members, the Leadership Development Committee shall evaluate candidates for the open at-large position.
