(This section includes all geographic local VMAs, including their sub-chapters, and non-geographic VMAs such as those representing lab animal veterinarians and public service veterinarians recognized by the CVMA.)

(This section includes courses sponsored by APHIS, the California Department of Food & Agriculture, the Department of Health Services, Department of Fish & Game, etc.)

10. Providers accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) or approved by the American Medical Association (AMA), providers recognized by the American Dental Association Continuing Education Recognition Program (ADA CERP), and AMA or ADA affiliated state, local, and specialty organizations.

Non-statutorily approved CE providers may also obtain “approved provider” status through the RACE program of the American Association of Veterinary State Boards (AAVSB) or the VMB. A list of RACE approved CE is available at the AAVSB website.
