Roads to Certification Workbook
RVT certification is more accessible now than ever before. A regulation passed December 23, 1994 allows veterinary assistants with 4,416 hours of directed clinical practice experience and 20 semester units, 30 quarter units, or 300 hours of specific education to apply for RVT certification in California.
This workbook is designed to help candidates become a Registered Veterinary Technician by using the Alternate Route to certification. The cost is $20.00 for each workbook plus tax, shipping and handling.
It fully outlines the requirements, includes suggested reading materials, and the Veterinary Medical Boards Task List (to be completed by the supervising veterinarian).
