Course Description

The Enigma of One Health
You may have learned about One Health in veterinary school but can you actually explain One Health? Is it a concept? An approach? How is it different from planetary health, global health, and eco health? Who and what are included? Join this webinar to find out the answers to these questions and more and to, once and for all, understand One Health.

Bringing One Health to Life
Now that you understand One Health, how can you share this knowledge? Are there easy ways to teach One Health to children and adults? Hear from an expert with years of One Health education experience with children. Learn tips and tricks by joining this webinar.

Deborah Thomson, DVM

Dr. Thomson develops international One Health lessons for children ages 6 to 18 so that they can understand the inextricable connection between human health and the health of animals and the environment. She has inspired over 1,000 children to consider a future in science. In addition to her background in education, Dr. Thomson is a veterinarian, a science policy advisor, an award-winning public speaker and musician, and an overall One Health advocate.
