CVMA members now have access to Upnotch, a free networking and mentorship platform built around professional conversations with no long-term commitments and no pressure.

Upnotch is flexible by design. A connection might be a single career conversation, a handful of check-ins, or an ongoing mentorship relationship—whatever works for both people. You set the terms. And because Upnotch is available online and through its mobile app, your CVMA professional community is always within reach.

Become a Mentor

If you’re an experienced veterinarian or RVT who’s open to sharing what you know, Upnotch makes it easy to get involved on your own terms. Set your availability, sync your Google or Microsoft calendar, cap your monthly sessions, and pause or step back whenever you need to. You’re in control of your involvement at every step—and you’ll also have the opportunity to connect with other mentors in the community.

To join as a mentor, click on the link, and use code 4ZI042.

Once you’re in, take a few minutes to complete your profile and bio. The more you share about your background, specialty, and expertise, the better your matches will be. Find your availability settings by clicking your icon in the top right corner and selecting Settings.

Join as a Mentee

Looking for guidance, a fresh perspective, or just a stronger professional network? Getting started is simple. Search for mentors by expertise, practice type, or skills, or use the AI matching feature to get a recommendation based on your goals. When you find a good fit, book a session directly based on their availability.

To join as a mentee, click on the link, and use code M36ONR.

After logging in, build out your profile with your skills, experience, and what you’re hoping to get from the community. A complete profile leads to better matches. Book a session either using AI matching based on your goals or viewing individual mentors’ profiles.

After your session, you can leave praise for your mentor. You can also build your own advisory board of trusted mentors.
