CVMA members might be surprised to learn how many local connections exist between veterinarians and candidates or new legislators in office. Many are friends and neighbors to several of the current legislators, which is abundantly helpful to the CVMA’s effort of building relationships and establishing key contacts in each legislative district.

Why not get involved and attend local fundraisers for candidates and incumbents and serve as a CVMA key contact? District fundraising events are great opportunities to meet the assembly member or senator and more likely, other local officials and business leaders in a casual environment.
