The CVMA is excited to announce our new Executive Director, Jon Klingborg, DVM! Dr. Klingborg has been involved in the CVMA since he graduated from veterinary school in 1992. He has worked on a wide array of CVMA committees and task forces, served as a member of both the CVMA House of Delegates and Board of Governors, and was elected CVMA President in 2004—the youngest president in the Association’s history.
Among many other accolades, Dr. Klingborg received the Dr. George Bishop Lifetime Achievement Award, the CVMA’s highest honor, in 2024.
Dr. Klingborg officially started on July 20. More information about Dr. Klingborg will be included in the next issue of California Veterinarian. Please join us in welcoming Dr. Klingborg!
