Complimentary Legal Consultations

CVMA member veterinarians may access up to 30 minutes of free legal consultation each month with attorneys specializing in employment law, contracts and business law, and administrative law such as VMB and other regulatory agency issues. Member Access ➝

CVMA Group 401(k) Retirement Program

As of 2022, most California employers, specifically those with five or more employees, are legally required to offer a qualified retirement plan to their employees. The CVMA Group 401(k) Retirement Program allows multiple employers to join this Multiple Employer Aggregate Program (MEAP) through ClearRode Financial Group. The program includes administrative and investment fiduciaries to oversee many operational and fiduciary tasks for the practice owner, reducing the practice owner’s work, responsibilities, and fiduciary liabilities. It is typically offered at a similar or lower cost than you may already be paying. The practice owner must be a CVMA member to qualify for this benefit.  Member Access ➝

Ready, Vet, Go Mentorship Program

VASE Alternate Route Program

VASE, a California Alternate Route Program accepted by the California Veterinary Medical Board and approved by the California Bureau of Post-secondary Education, offers the required academic instruction that, combined with the required 4,416 hours experience (before registering or by completion of the class) working for a California licensed veterinarian, qualifies students to sit for the national exam.
