A graduate of the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, began her professional career in private practice for seven years until 2012 when she joined UC Davis as a faculty member, serving as the Chief of Service for Community Practice. Amongst her passion and expertise in animal health, Dr. Jurewicz considers dermatology, preventative care, low-stress handling, and all things feline to be her primary interests. A valued member of the Professional Services Veterinarian team at Merck Animal Health since 2019, Dr. Jurewicz strives to provide education to the veterinary field to improve the lives of our beloved pets and the people who love them.
